My Story
Short Biography
I'm Bryant Duhart — a self-taught multimedia designer from Stockton, California, now based in Wiesbaden, Germany. I design, edit, animate and build: graphic and web design, video and motion, music, 3D and interactive work, taken from first sketch to finished product.
I've been making things my whole life. Drawing and creativity are a family tradition I share with my mother and father, so picking up a pencil was never a decision, just a habit. Around 2006 I started treating that talent as a business, and in 2007 I founded Shimti Multimedia, the studio where my client work happens.
I came to Germany to travel and see the world, and stayed. This is where I live and work, where I married, and where I'm raising my family. I work in English and German, with a little Spanish, for clients here and abroad.
Over the years my work has included projects for Continental, Meyni Textil, Felt Bikes, Lovelace and Schlachthof, and creative collaborations with Soul Folks and Soulcieteelive.
Day to day I work in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator for video and design, Blender for 3D, Studio One for music, and Unity and Unreal Engine for games and interactive work. Every one of those skills was learned on real projects, for real clients.
Alongside the creative work I spent years on the operational side of business — visual merchandising, print production management, retail management, custom apparel and customer-facing roles. That's why I work the way I do: I keep my dates, I make decisions, and I take responsibility for the result.
AI is part of that toolkit too. I use Claude and Codex heavily, as tools I direct — not ones that direct me.
I'm available for freelance projects and open to employment, especially creative leadership roles where hands-on production experience and end-to-end project ownership count.
Outside work you'll find me playing video games, listening to music, and watching American football and basketball.
